Test Day Car Hire in Wimbledon
No car for your driving test? We provide a dual-control instructor car for your practical test across Wimbledon and south west London. Tell us your test date and centre, and we will confirm what we can do.
Do not lose your test over the car
Waiting lists for practical tests in London run for months. Turning up without a car that satisfies the examiner — or with one that fails the check on the day — means the test is refused, the fee is gone, and you go back to the end of that queue. It is an avoidable way to lose half a year. If you have no car, or you are not certain the one you have will pass muster, get in touch before your test date rather than after it.
Why learners book a car for test day
A dual-control instructor car
A proper tuition vehicle, maintained and set up for the test, rather than a borrowed car you have never driven.
The DVSA checklist is strict
Bald tyre, airbag warning light, no L-plates, no examiner mirror — any one of them and the examiner refuses the test and keeps the fee.
Local test centres
Our learners test at Morden (SM4 4PE) and Isleworth (TW7 6DB). Tell us where yours is booked and we will confirm.
Book around your test date
Availability depends on the date and centre, so get in touch as early as you can rather than the week before.
Ask us anything first
Not sure whether your own car would pass the examiner check? Message us and we will talk it through.
